Timber frame barn relocation begins by numbering each individual timber, disassembly of the frame and transport to our facility in Reading, Pennsylvania. Once the fully disassemble timber frame barn has arrived the pieces will undergo any necessary repairs or modifications. The timber frame barn relocation process concludes with the transport of the ready to build restored barn being transported to the new project site where it is erected and then enclosed.
Green Mountain Timber Frames will create a full architectural drawing for the intended use for your barn project in addition to creating a shop drawing with required modifications to bring it up to contemporary building codes.
